ORRiginal Woodworks, by Roy Orr, is committed to building custom, hand crafted furniture. All pieces are one-of-a-kind and made to order. Each piece is made using solid wood construction and of the highest quality. Most of my furniture designs are original and some have subtle influences by great wood workers, Green & Green, Sam Maloof, David Marks, and others.
Featured works are made using native black walnut, figured maple, and cherry. Some exotic woods are used on request and as accents. A great deal of care is used in the wood selection and matching grain patterns where possible. My preferred finish is a hand rubbed oil and polyurethane mix to bring out a silky smooth feel and highlight the natural beauty of the wood.
